Cancellation Policies and Wellness Protocols

  • 48-HR Cancellation policy:

    You can reschedule or cancel your service via your confirmation email up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Cancelled prepaid appointments will be refunded minus processing fees. If you fail to do so outside of the 48 hours, you agree to pay the FULL appointment fee. If you have any difficulty with this you can call or leave a message at 808-280-5257, or email michele@malamatherapeutic.com. There will be NO charge/fee for a cancellation due to illness or family emergency.

  • Reschedule your appointment if you are actively coughing, sneezing, have had a fever in the past 72 hours, have loss of taste or smell or have been in contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 5 days. We also ask you to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms.  There will be NO charge/fee for a cancellation due to illness or family emergency.

  • The door will be unlocked 10 mins before your appointment.

  • Face masks are now optional (effective April 3, 2022). However, if you arrive for your appointment and are experiencing mild symptoms your service provider may require you to wear a mask. 

  • You will be asked to either sanitize or wash your hands before your service.
